LoHud Hi Def Comedy
(Think Global, Laugh Local):
bringing world-class, recession-busting stand-up comedy to the
Lower Hudson Valley. LoHud Hi Def was founded for the purpose
of infusing the already-vibrant local arts scene with the Thalian
spirit of mirth. For what, in difficult times, is more healing
than a gathering of like-minded folk in the presence of jesters,
storytellers, and fools for an evening of merrymaking, laughter,
and drink?
LoHud Hi Def Comedy is produced in conjunction with FIVE HALVES PRODUCTIONS by local Rockland County resident Adam Oliensis (Tony® and Drama Desk Award nominee as producer-see bio below for more) along with sometime Tarrytown denizen and veteran of the New York and Las Vegas comedy scenes, Jamie Rosen (see bio below). LoHud Hi Def brings the best of both local and New York City talent, including national headliners, to our area at a reasonable ticket price.

JAMIE ROSEN is a girl. The name is unisex. She looks like a girl but has been mistaken for a boy even as an adult. Her Father and Step-mother taught her everything she needed to know about being an adult which means she is a master of boob-flashing and mooning and burping and reading Playboy. None of which we will allow her to do onstage. On a serious note, she is a new Jew due to her recent marriage to a much older Jewish gentleman. She has a unique way of training her new husband with TV shows like "Snapped." Let her explain in person. Mrs. Rosen is a step-mother to two very hot boys ages 18 and 21. She is preoccupied with looking young forever and germs. She has lived in 8 different states and will bring forth those experiences. Jamie has made numerous appearances on
Reality TV and performs in at various Las Vegas clubs and casinos,
as well as in the New York comedy club scene (Broadway Comedy
Club, Gotham Comedy Club, among others). Always dressed for the
occasion her fun style of comedy will leave you wanting more!! |
